How We Work With You | Develop an Application Profile & Financial Payback

Wireless Systems that provide value and benefits to a customer have been the key to VersaCall’s success and growth.

We would like to work with you to demonstrate how the VersaCall System would provide value and benefit for your operation by laying out how our system would be implemented and the financial returns. This is accomplished by developing an application profile for your specific operation and also a financial payback

The profile generally has 5 different sections:

  • Overview of System Implementation – description of where in your operation the VersaCall System would be implemented and what specifically it would be accomplishing
  • What are the current practices before the implementation of the VersaCall System
  • What are the practices with the implementation of the VersaCall System
  • What are the components of the VersaCall System and what is the final system price.
  • Payback/ROI Analysis based upon the financial return associated with the change in practices.

Application Profile Background Information:

An Application Profile is designed to demonstrate, on paper, how a VersaCall system would provide benefit and value to an operation. Key to the profile is an understanding of where the VersaCall System would be implemented, and what the anticipated value it would provide. The value has to be both operational and financial. We believe that our system should provide a financial payback to an operation in less than one year. Typically our paybacks are between 2 and 6 months

Information Required for an Application Profile

  1. Understanding where in your operation the VersaCall System would be initially deployed. Specifically, where would you implement the VersaCall input modules and what task they would be performing – minimizing downtime, takt time monitoring, data collection, equipment monitoring etc.  Usually, the easiest way to do this is to identify where in your production process the modules would be deployed. Sometimes we use the plant layout and super-impose the VersaCall Modules.

  1. Understanding what the change in operational practices will be with the implementation of the VersaCall System – identifying what they are currently.
  1. What savings will be realized using your financial metrics? Increased production time, minimizing production disruptions, savings generated etc.

  1. If you are having difficulty in identifying an area for the VersaCall – just think of a line or a piece of equipment that is you largest headache.  If you were able to monitor that line or unit of equipment or had more visibility of issues – would the operations of that line or area change?  This is the area or equipment that would be a candidate for an application profile.

With this information, we can put together an application profile and financial payback for your operation and then you can decide if it makes business sense to continue to look at our system.
